Help The Arctic Cycle Help the World

Founded in 2009 by playwright Chantal Bilodeau, The Arctic Cycle uses theatre to foster dialogue about our global climate crisis, create a positive vision of the future, and inspire people to take action.

Can you help us raise $5,000 before the end of the month by making a tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $100, or an amount that feels significant to you?

Artists are makers of culture. Their work shapes our values, beliefs, and behaviors, and often provides a beacon of hope in dark times. In this new era of the Anthropocene, where the threats and impacts of climate change are felt on a daily basis, when we are called to bring our very best selves forward and collaborate on a scale never seen before, artists have a crucial role to play. Their creativity and imagination help us better understand our place in the world, formulate an expansive vision of a just and sustainable future, and develop strategies to transform this vision into reality.

Through our initiatives – the Plays, Artists & Climate Change, Climate Change Theatre Action, and the Incubator – we are committed to supporting artists who deeply engage with work at the intersection of arts and climate change, and to training the artists of tomorrow who will follow in their footsteps. Your donation helps sustain us, and with a little luck, it will contribute to making the world a better place.
