2010 Celluloid Ceiling Study Released
Dr. Martha Lauzen has kindly shared her 2010 Celluloid Ceiling Study with agnès films. Overall, the percentage of women working as producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, and editors remained steady at 16%. Women comprised 7% of directors, the same percentage as in 2009. The largest percentages of women worked in romantic comedies, documentaries, and romantic dramas. The smallest percentages of women worked in horror and action genres.
