Kym is an experimental filmmaker whose work has been shown at many festivals, including the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival, Perv Queerotic Film Festival in Sydney Australia, and Athens International Film & Video Festival, where she won Best Experimental Film for Devil’s Dairymaid.
Kym’s work has also been featured in the “Oh Economy, Up Yours!” short film program, which screened at two German feminist/queer conferences and Queer Salon in Berlin.
She is currently working on a witchy trilogy inspired by plants and folklore.
Some of her favorite filmmakers are Wong Kar Wai, Agnès Varda, Vera Chytilova, Jan Svankmajer, Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Michel Gondry.
