Write for Us

agnés films is a digital publication that encourages filmmakers, critics, and writers to contribute their voices and perspectives. If you work in any stage of the filmmaking process—from producing and directing, to crew, to acting—and you would like to write about yourself, your projects, or your experience, we are interested in your input.

If you are a filmmaker, critic, and/or film festival organizer, please fill out this brief form to tell us what you would like to write about.

If you are a writer who is not involved in filmmaking, does not have experience writing critically about films, or is otherwise not affiliated with the film business, we request that you get to know our website and outline your purpose for writing. Please complete this form for further instructions.

We seek articles from filmmakers and scholars that:

  • Give practical advice about film production and expound on the elements of filmmaking.
  • Analyze and explore the work of women filmmakers and the history of feminist filmmaking.
  • Create connections between film production and academia.
  • Provide insight into film festival practices and trends, especially feminist and women’s work
