About me:

I am the author of POLITICAL ANIMALS: THE NEW FEMINIST CINEMA, out from IB Tauris in November 2015, and of THE CINEMA OF SALLY POTTER: A POLITICS OF LOVE (Wallflower, 2009). I am a member of the London-based queer feminist film curation collective Club des Femmes, and of Raising Films, a collective working for better conditions for parent-filmmakers. I write regularly for Sight & Sound and The F-Word (UK), predominantly on feminist, queer and alternative cinema.
