About me:

Sue May is a fine art photographer, writer, and award winning filmmaker. Sue holds a B.F.A. in Sculpture and M.F.A. in Screenwriting from USC. Sue is the creative force behind My Dog Spot Productions (MDSP) and Simplexity Films (SF).

MDSP is an independent documentary production house addressing universal social themes focusing on the marginalized and mis/underrepresented, a positive portrayal of women in society, spirituality, and the Arts. SF is an independent narrative production house illuminating the dualistic yet complementary relationship between complexity and simplicity though independent cinema.

Sue’s education, background, and creative work in the visual arts, theatre, and film in combination with her personal interests – the Arts, Women’s Studies, Feminism, Ancient Cultures, Travel, Nature & Animals, the Earth/Ocean, Buddhism, and Human Rights – has lead to a rare creative union of the visceral and noetic resulting in original subject matter which captures and seduces her audience in the most subtle and sincere manner and translates into an on-screen visual smorgasbord of mouth-watering delights.
