Have you seen the Fall 2011 issue of Films for the Feminist Classroom? http://www.signs.rutgers.edu/ffc_home.html.

In this issue we feature Women’s Voices from the Muslim World Festival: Filmmakers Share their Stories, edited and introduced by Julie Ann Salthouse, in which creative professionals involved in this open-access, online film festival comment on their work bringing Muslim women’s lives into a larger conversation.

The 2011 Full Frame Documentary Festival and QDoc, Portland, Oregon’s, queer documentary film festival are written up here as well.

And, films reviewed in Issue 3.2 include Latching On: The Politics of Breastfeeding in America; My American Girls: A Dominican Story; Seen, But Not Heard: AIDS and the Untold War Against Black Women; Girls on the Wall; She’s a Boy I Knew; Fem Crit: Experimental Works for Educational Environments; and !Women Art Revolution.

Share your ideas and feedback with us at ffc@signs.rutgers.edu.
